Orioles Catcher Adley Rutschman Shoots His Shot With the Bachelor’s Madison Prewett

The Bachelor's Madison Prewett took to Instagram on Wednesday to invite anyone who finishes her caption the best out to dinner on her, "Roses are red, violets are blue, whoever finishes this best, dinner on me for two."

The post caught the eye of Baltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman and he took the opportunity to shoot his shot.  He finished the caption with talk of marriage, "Roses are red, violets are blue.... I'll change your name to Rutschman from Prew."

It's a smart way to shoot your shot if you're trying to get the attention of someone who went on TV looking for a husband.  The line, and the blue checkmark I'm guessing, caught her eye and she replied.

That's how it's done in 2020.  All you need is a corny line and a blue checkmark and you're in.

And people claim that romance is dead...
