Saints WR Michael Thomas Helped Wipe Out Almost $2.3 Million in Medical Debt for Families in New Orleans

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas, who gets into the negativity and hate on Twitter all the time, came through in a big way for families struggling with medical debt.  He partnered with "RIP Medical Debt" and donated money to wipe out almost $2.3 million in medical debt for families in the New Orleans area.

"I'm honored to support my community in this way and make an impact in the city that's been so welcoming to me from the minute I came here," Thomas said. "I hope these families receive a little relief in knowing their medical bills have been taken care of during these very difficult times in our country."

I'm sure Thomas will be mixing it up with people on social media in no time, but he deserves a ton of credit for doing this for people who can't pay their medical bills.  I really wanted to find a way to hate on it, but I can't it's such an awesome way to give back and directly make a difference in people's lives.
