The NFL Announces a Game Will Be Played on Christmas This Year

SJ - May 7, 2020

On Thursday night the NFL officially announced the schedule for the upcoming season.  Of course, it all depends on what kind of pandemic restrictions, if any, are still in place when the season kicks off.

One game worth noting is a Christmas Day game between the Vikings and Saints in the Superdome.  The game, which was leaked earlier in the day, will take place on a Friday.

The NFL typically hasn't played games on Christmas Day, unless it falls on a Sunday, leaving it for the NBA.  This year they're almost going out of their way to compete with the NBA.

Nothing says happy birthday Jesus like some fighting between professional sports leagues.
