Alabama DC Pete Golding Catching Some Heat After Apparently Being Spotted Celebrating SEC Championship With a Cheerleader

Alabama rolled right over top ranked Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.  The 41-24 win all but secured Alabama a spot in the College Football Playoffs.

Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding was receiving some praise for slowing down the Bulldogs offense.  But he's also catching some heat for apparently being spotted celebrating the win on the field with a cheerleader.

The two (whoever they are) can be seen in the background of a postgame interview embracing and celebrating before realizing they were in view of the cameras.  Fans took note of the seemingly odd behavior.

Is this Pete?  Is this just some innocent fun or is something going on here?  I don't know, but either way he's likely going to have some explaining to do.

If Pete's still a married man he's probably going to have some explaining to do when he gets home.  If Nick Saban or anyone at Alabama sees this he's still probably going to have some explaining to do.

UPDATE: No explanation necessary.  It's NOT Pete Golding.
