Alica Schmidt has been labeled the world's sexiest athlete for close to a decade now.

We all know that's not entirely true, there are plenty of sexiest athletes out there, and to some of you, Tom Brady's still number 1.

The viral nickname did do her well though, because she has been able to secure sponsors and invest in her training 5 hours a day to get herself to the Olympics, while other runners who don't have a social media following are forced to run in local run clubs.

It's one of those things where it's not always the best athlete winning, but rather the one with the most resources to spend the money training with the best coaches.

Which is why you should get rich or give up.

That said, she is still running, likely working on the next Olympics and watching her run, as the world's sexiest athlete, is an educational and inspiring thing.
