Bartolo Colon took the mound in the Mexican Baseball League last night. Not only did Big Sexy take the mound the 47-year-old got the Opening Day start, a win, for the Acereros de Monclova.

The ageless rubber arm went 5 innings with 5 strikeouts while only giving up 3 (1 earned) runs.

Bartolo's MLB career is likely over, although you never really know with some of the poorly run organizations out there. What I do know is having Big Sexy on the mound just feels right.

Hopefully he's taking the mound well into his 60s.
