Biden Says “Rules are Rules” on Sha’Carri Richardson’s Suspension

Olympic sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson was suspended for one month following a failed drug test for marijuana.  Everyone who has an opinion has given one, including the President who weighed in on Saturday.

Biden was asked what he thought of Richardson's suspension and he said, "rules are the rules."  He added that he was proud of the way she responded to the situation.

So I guess the President isn't going to be going to bat for Richardson and the ridiculous suspension for a non-performance enhancer.  It's true rules are rules, but it's also true that some rules are stupid and shouldn't be followed!
