Bill Belichick Will Not Accept the Presidential Medal of Freedom From Trump

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick released a statement on Monday saying that he would not be accepting the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Trump.

Belichick had originally planned to accept the award, but changed his mind after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol last week.

You can't blame Belichick for changing his mind. It would be really hard for anyone to accept the award or any others from Trump right now. The only thing that won't be turned down at this point are Presidential pardons.
