The termination or investigation is RUMORED to be based on him allegedly being caught having sex with Number 1 draft pick Conor Bedard's mother according to the internet but people in the know seem to think that the rumor about him bedding Bedard's mother is bogus.

In an update from the team, the player was not terminated for procreating with his teammates mom. The Blackhawks didn't go into what he did to violate their safe work environments, but they did make a point of saying it wasn't criminal, so that's good news.
