Tennis legend Boris Becker has been accused of sexism while covering Wimbledon for calling a player's fiancee "very pretty."  During Marton Fucsovics' match against Novak Djokovic, Fucsovics' fiancee Anett Boszormenyi got some camera time.

Becker took note and said, "They do say they have the most beautiful women in Hungary.  I wouldn't know that, but she's certainly very pretty."

Saying a woman is very pretty is apparently sexist...

From Daily Mail:

Stephanie Hilborne, CEO of Women in Sport, last night condemned Becker's remarks.

'The charity Women in Sport has worked for decades to change sporting culture, including to end the objectification of women,' she said. 'When two men are comfortable talking about women in this way, never mind on live TV, it shows there is still more to do.

'We need everyone to understand how this impacts on women and girls. Shouldn't we be inspiring the next generation of girls to play sport rather than talking about what women look like?'

Boy she sounds like a joy to be around.  Other than her claim that there is something wrong with what Becker said, I also have to point out the fact that Boszormenyi isn't a professional tennis player.  She was there watching Fucsovics.

So the CEO's "point" about inspiring the next generation of girls to play sport rather than talking about what they look like makes no sense.  See more of Fucsovics' very pretty fiancee below.
