Brian Kenny Wants Shohei Ohtani to Stop Pitching

Nobody is more annoying in the game of baseball than Brian Kenny is.  If he could he would have baseball games 100% played on paper based on the analytics.

Why actually play games if you have numbers to do it for you?

Now Kenny wants the Angels best pitcher, Shohei Ohtani, to stop pitching.  His reason to take Ohtani off the mound?  So he can focus on offense.

Shohei Ohtani is a generational, once in a lifetime talent. Instead of celebrating and appreciating what his abilities can bring to the sport, the industry chooses to criticize

I don't think Kenny understands Ohtani's appeal...  The only reason people are interested in what he's doing is because he's doing it as a hitter and a pitcher.

If he's not pitching, he's just a guy hitting a lot of home runs on a mediocre team.  Right now he's the best hitter/pitcher on a mediocre team.  That's the whole reason people care.

It's not surprising that Kenny can't grasp this concept.  He sucks.
