Wednesday night was a rough night for Cardinals reliever Genesis Cabrera.  The 24-year-old left-hander hit two Phillies hitters with back-to-back pitches.

Cabrera's first pitch in the sixth inning was a 97 MPH fastball that hit Bryce Harper in the face.  His next pitch was a 95 MPH fastball that hit Didi Gregorious in the ribs.

After the back-to-back hit batter both benches were warned.  That didn't sit well with Phillies manager Joe Girardi.  He voiced his displeasure and was tossed.

After the game Harper took to social media and gave an update on his face.  The Phillies star's face is somehow still fully intact.  It's likely sore and will probably bruise, but he's in good shape for a guy who took a 97 MPH pitch to the face.
