Cardinals Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury Answers Questions About Kyler Murray’s Contract Demands

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has made it clear that he wants a new contract.  His agent Erik Burkhardt released a statement on Monday saying Kyler wanted to remain in Arizona but wanted the team to make a commitment to him.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury was asked about it at the NFL combine and attempted to answer the questions.  He said that he hasn't been in touch with Kyler Murray, but also pointed out that his quarterback knows how he feels about him.

"I think all of our long term goal here is to have Kyler be our quarterback.  He understands that, he understands my view of him and how I feel about him.  Once again, I'm gonna refer to the business side of things.  That's not something I deal with but it's all part of the business right now and things we’ll continue to work through."

I would have been much more interested in having Kliff answer questions about his Instagram model girlfriend but this is what we've got.  He did his best to dance through these questions.  The bottom line is if Kyler is your franchise quarterback then you're going to have to pay the man.
