Duke isn't the powerhouse they've been historically and head coach Mike Krzyzewski is calling on College Basketball to reconsider whether it's a good idea to playing during the pandemic.

Coach K's comments come after the Blue Devils lost at home to Illinois on Tuesday night.  Given that fact nobody should be listening to him at all.

From ESPN:

"I would just like for the safety, the mental and physical health of players and staff to assess where we're at," Krzyzewski said.

Krzyzewski's comments came after an 83-68 loss to Illinois.

The five-time championship-winning coach said he wasn't sure who exactly was leading basketball and that the plan for everyone to start on Nov. 25 wasn't well-planned.

What an incredible move here by Coach K.  This tops all of his past fake illnesses, which he apparently didn't want to pull out during a pandemic.

You don't want to mock a real illness at times like these.  But don't put it past him, he's just not that desperate yet.
