Luis Alfredo Rivas Clase, the last remaining suspect of the shooting of David Ortiz, was shot and killed over the weekend in the Dominican Republic.  He was reportedly shot to death in front of a mall following a car chase.

Rivas Clase was an alleged mastermind of the attack on Ortiz, which was actually a botched hit on a man that was sitting next to the former Red Sox star.

From FOX News:

A suspect in the David Ortiz shooting from 2019 was reportedly shot and killed in the Dominican Republic over the weekend.

Luis Alfredo Rivas-Clase, one of the handful of suspects linked to the shooting of the Boston Red Sox legend in the Dominican Republic, died after a car chase and a shootout, Listin Diario reported. Rivas-Clase was gunned down outside of a shopping center. The suspects in the shooting have not been identified.

Live by the gun, die by the gun.  This guy sounds like a piece of work.  He got exactly what was coming his way.  You can only mastermind so many hits before a hit is placed on you.
