Deshaun Watson Settles!

Cleveland Brown's QB Deshaun Watson is to pay $5 million and will be suspended for 11 games for his sexual assault allegations of countless massage therapists coming forward with similar stories of lewd and inappropriate behavior.

It has been a pretty contentious story in the NFL for the last few months because some people wanted him to burn, be cancelled and fired from the NFL, others wanted a slap on the wrist for the player, while some people didn't see how any punishment was really necessary.

The ruling seems like the NFL is just doing the bare minimum for optics and to avoid criticism. So they can say they took some disciplinary measures for the player's inappropriate actions, but $5 million dollars is still a big slap on the wrist, even for a rich player.

I don't know what this means for any criminal action by the 24 women who have come forward, or for future women that work in his vicinity, but as a "innocent until proven guilty" kind of guy, I figure it is best to have no real opinion on the matter, as rich players can be creeps, as well as targets to be exploited.

The real question is how's his girl Jilly Anais holding up through all this?
