Dez Bryant Calls it Quits for the Season After Testing Positive for COVID-19 Prior to Tuesday Night’s Game

A bizarre sequence of events took place on Tuesday night during pregame warmups for the Cowboys-Ravens game.  Baltimore wide receiver Dez Bryant was pulled off the field to be tested for COVID-19.

The test came back positive and Bryant was ruled out not long before kickoff.  Bryant was looking forward to playing against his old team and called it quits for the season on social media.

Bryant must have been rapid tested prior to kickoff because of a test from Monday coming back positive.  He's most likely asymptomatic given how upset he is about missing the game.

Obviously I'm not going to make the same Dez caught it joke that everyone else is making.  But he did apparently catch it.
