Dorothea Wierer has qualified for her 4th Olympics, this time at home in Italy!

She is a biathlete, which is one of the weirder sports, it means she cross country skis, which is physically exhausting, and shoots target with a rifle. If targets are missed, distance is added to the ski. The biathlon has its roots in Scandinavia and has been part of the Olympics for a long time, merging hunting and war games with skiing as the mode of transport.

It is probably not the most lucrative sport to be a top contender in, and really she is ranked 10 in the world now, which is not top 3.

She is however an icon in the sport and looks good and fit on her social media channels, which is really what it's about.
