Drew Brees Did the “Collinsworth Slide”

Mike Tirico and Drew Brees were on the call in New Orleans on Thanksgiving night.  As has been the case on Thanksgiving since 2017, the normal Sunday Night Football crew of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth had the night off.

Brees had the privilege of watching the Bills kick the shit out of his former team.  He also had a special moment at halftime (who cares?), but the biggest moment of the night for the retired quarterback might have been doing the "Collinsworth slide."

Collinsworth might not have been working, but he was still watching and he reacted to Brees slide.

The slide was nice and all, but Brees is trying to be more like Tony Romo than Cris Collinsworth and for that reason he'll never truly be able to replace what Collinsworth brings to the table.

We don't need accurate insight or play predictions.  We need idiotic comments like the ones Collinsworth spits out on a weekly basis!
