Marcus Stokes is apparently one of the top football players in the country playing at the High School level just got his scholarship from Florida pulled.

Clearly, he is not just a high school player, but he's got the brain of a high school kid, who in my era would have been in the remedial class, because the idiot dropped an "N Bomb" on social media when rapping along to a song.

A two second clip was long enough for everyone watching the prospect to say "fuck this guy, he's a liability".

What amazes me is that when you have your life lined up, your potentially the next Tom Brady with a 20 year career waiting to be had, you are still so dumb to realize that you can get screwed by what you post on social media?

It's like haven't these kids been raised in the social media environment, the social media ecosystem, where people get cancelled, suspended, fired, disowned for shit they do on social.

It's this horrible extension of yourself where you can't just be "it was just a joke on the internet" like when people could live their anonymous lives dropping troll-level disses all day as a way to decompress from real life and now this kid is paying the price.

Everyone knows to never use the N-Bomb even when singing along to our favorite rappers who have normalized the N-Bomb, when you're not of a specific or limited group who are allowed to drop the N-Bomb.

TMZ has the video:

What an idiot, obviously that's unacceptable, obviously that's going to get you cancelled, and obviously he was trying to sabotage his life.

We'll see if other schools feel the same way, or if they'll move in and bring the kid on when it all blows over, you know having the best player in the country on your team is pretty desirable and teams have look past far worse!

How about the highlight reel:
