Retired U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo was arrested in North Carolina on Thursday. She was taken into custody in a Winston Salem Walmart parking lot.
According to the reports, Solo was booked for DWI, resisting arrest, and misdemeanor child abuse. Her children were in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.
From TMZ Sports:
Officials tell us Solo was booked for impaired driving (DWI), resisting arrest, and misdemeanor child abuse.
It's not the first time Hope, who was arguably the best goalkeeper in the world during her time with the USWNT, has been in trouble with the law.
This isn't Hope's first run-in with the law. Hopefully it serves as a wakeup call for her and she's able to get her stuff together. It's never great for small children to have to go through these kinds of things.
