It’s the Internet’s Favorite Hockey Goalie Mikayla Demaiter’s Birthday

Today is Mikayla Demaiter's 22nd birthday.  The Canadian born thirst trapper and the internet's favorite goalie (despite being retired) made sure we were all aware of her big day with a birthday cake and a couple of thirst traps.

She joked in the caption of the pics that her birthday should be a Canadian national holiday.  You'll get no argument from me on that.  In fact I think she makes a compelling case.

Happy Mikayla Demaiter day Canada!  I don't think I have the authority to declare such a thing, but then again, I don't know how Canadian law works.

If there’s an outside chance that all Mikayla needs is someone, anyone, to second that then who am I to deny her a national holiday?  She's certainly earned the right.
