Jimmy Garoppolo Plays it Cool After 49ers Draft Trey Lance

The clock is ticking on Jimmy Garoppolo's time in San Francisco.  That's what the "experts" are saying anyway.  The 49ers are saying they're not planning to trade him, but they did draft a quarterback with the No.3 overall pick.

A pick they traded up from No. 12 to make.  The quarterback they drafted is North Dakota State's Trey Lance.

Jimmy G doesn't appear to be worried about all of the speculation about his future with the 49ers.  He played it cool and reportedly asked for the new Niners quarterback's number.

Jimmy Garoppolo’s job with the San Francisco 49ers is in jeopardy, but he’s still acting like a pro.

49ers reporter Keiana Martin said on Thursday that Garoppolo asked for Trey Lance’s phone number after the North Dakota State quarterback was drafted No. 3 overall by San Francisco.

It turns out a relationship (romantic or otherwise) with Colin Cowherd's daughter is really good for boosting your draft stock.

Who knew?  I mean other than Lance?
