Joe Burrow Admits He Torched the Ravens Defense for 525 Yards Because of Ravens DC Wink Martindale’s Comments

You want to get torched by Joe Burrow? Make comments insulting the Bengals quarterback before playing him. Ravens defensive coordinator Wink Martindale did that and Burrow lit his defense up for 525 yards.

After the game Burrow admitted that Martindale's comments about Burrow gave him a little extra motivation. All Martindale said was "I don't think we're ready to buy a gold jacket for Joe."

Shit. Imagine if Martindale came at Burrow with an actual insult. I see why Burrow was annoyed, but these comments didn't seem like they were worth putting up 500 plus yards on Baltimore's defense.
