Josie Canseco Goes Instagram Official with MLB Pitcher AJ Smith-Shawver!

Josie Canseco is off the market again, and is making it official for the gram.

The model recently split from Johnny Manziel and has shared a sweet photo of her and the Atlanta Braves pitcher cozied up together, making it very clear that he’s the new guy in her life.

A.J. Smith-Shawver is one of the Braves’ most promising young arms, a rising star who made waves this season until late May, when he suffered a torn UCL in his right elbow during a game against the Phillies.

He underwent Tommy John surgery in early June, which will keep him off the mound for the rest of the season and likely most of 2026 too. Fans are pointing out that A.J. does not have a sling on in his new photos with Josie, which leads them to believe that he isn't as injured as he says and is instead taking an early retirement...

Josie’s timing is also interesting, going public just as A.J. embarks on what’s bound to be a tough and lengthy rehab process. If nothing else, she’s showing she’s there for the long haul… or maybe she’s just got a thing for injured athletes!

Either way, Josie’s moved on from Johnny Football, and her new flame is a literal Brave!
