Julian Edelman fans are pretty excited, because he may be the third ex-Patriot to make a comeback after retiring, following Gronk's and Brady's return, even though Brady technically retired from the Bucs, he will forever be a Patriot, even when he's not!

Julian Edelman, who retiredsaid he's feeling good and isn't ruling out a return to the NFL.

The 36 year old retired in 2021 after 12 seasons with the Patriots! 36 really isn't that old, but I guess when you're rich and hurting after the physically demanding games against young people, you could probably feel pretty old!

I guess retirement isn't what it used to be, you know living in Florida, drinking beer by the pool, golfing and waiting for death, or jobs as a NFL analyst on various networks, maybe even a stint on Dancing with the Stars, or Masked Singer to fill the days, because they all get bored and want back in!

He said has said in the past that he's a One Team player, so don't expect him to run to the Bucs with Brady, although, I have a feeling that is what is going to happen!

He said:

My body feels good. There’s some deficiencies here and there, but I feel extremely better than I did the last year-and-a-half of my career,"

"That’s why you get interested, so you kick it up a little bit here and there and you analyze. You don’t make decisions. And that’s what I’m doing."

I guess we'll see how it all unfolds, but he is a star player and fans are stoked on the possibility!

Here's a highlight reel that the Patriots put out as a tribute when he retired:
