Julian Edelman Responds to Tom Brady’s Madden Cover With a Look at How Far He’s Come

Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes were revealed as the cover athletes for the latest version of the Madden video game.  One of Brady's favorite targets in New England, Julian Edelman, responded to the cover with a look at how far he's come.

Edelman shared a screenshot of "QB N0. 12" as the fourth string quarterback on the Patriots from Brady's rookie year.  His overall rating at the time was 57 out of 99.  I have a feeling it will be a little higher in the 2022 version of the game.

This perfectly illustrates Brady's entire career.  He was an overlooked sixth-round draft pick who willed himself into the greatest of all-time.  Now he's on the cover of Madden with one of his sons and has everyone kissing his rings.
