According to TMZ , Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said Kyrie Irving has done something "more destructive, insensitive, and just plain silly" than his COVID-19 vax stance by posting this Alex Jones clip last month about secret societies, I am not sure why secret society conspiracy is more destructive than his stance on COVID, but ok!

I guess Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is not a fan of Free Speech, but rather thinks that athletes should lose sponsors for posting the things they feel like posting on social media! I mean, except his own ramblings on his substack, because he clearly feels his opinion is more important thank Kyrie's, why is that?

This must be all because of the whole disinformation clown show that is in full throttle, as the people who once had more control over conversations when they controlled what was on TV, Newspapers, before the internet democratized and deregulated thought, which allowed conspiracy theorists, whack jobs and others to have conversations and build platforms around their ideas that I guess can spiral out of hand, but isn't that our right as humans to subscribe to what we want?

Last month, Irving, who was anti the experimental medicine, outspoken about the treatment he received from other people, the league, over the experimental medicine, and who claims to have lost over 100 million dollars due to the controversy around the experimental medicine, posted an Alex Jones clip from 2002 calling out secret societies!

As you know, Alex Jones has been a leader in conspiracy theories, alternative media, calling out the powers that be for the last 25 years, from local radio to a huge Youtube channel that made him 100s of millions of dollars before being de-platformed and forced to build his own media network! He recently was in the news for questioning some serious events that took place, and it may lead to him being forced into bankruptcy, which whether you like it or not, is an attack on free speech!

I don't know why KAJ thinks posting one of his clips about secret societies is more serious than his stance on COVID, and OBVIOUSLY posting Alex Jones is controversial, but that doesn't mean that Kyrie reposting it outlawed or silenced, I mean people can make their own minds up as to whether they think the Tin Foil Hats are whacko or voices of reason!

More importantly, KAJ thinks Kyrie should lose sponsorship money because of a tweet, that's not very friendly of him, you have to wonder why he is so mad!!

This whole censorship thing is totally out of hand, it's a slippery slope to 1984 and seeing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar say these things is in fact destructive, insenstive and an attack on free speech!

If you don't like what's being said, don't listen to it! Easy! Right?

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said:

"When I look at some of the athletes who have used their status to actually improve society-- Colin Kaepernick, LeBron James, Muhammad Ali, Bill Russell, Billie Jean King, Arthur Ashe, and more -- it becomes clear how much Irving has tarnished the reputations of all athletes who strive to be seen as more than dumb jocks."

"Irving does not seem to have the capacity to change, but we have the capacity to keep fighting against his brand of destructive behavior."

Interesting take!
