Kate Hudson is trading in her rom com chops for some courtside hustle in the upcoming Netflix comedy series Running Point. Set to premiere on February 27, 2025, the show centers on Isla Gordon (Hudson), a reformed party girl who unexpectedly finds herself at the helm of her family's professional basketball team after her brother's forced resignation.

Created by the comedic minds of Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen, Running Point promises a slam dunk of laughs as Isla navigates the male dominated world of professional sports, aiming to prove she's more than just a socialite. The ensemble cast includes Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Brenda Song, and Jay Ellis, and most importantly, Chet Hanks.

Mark your calendars for February 27, when Running Point debuts on Netflix, and get ready to cheer for Hudson as she leads her team both on and off the court.
