SUPER BOWL
Echo Lawrence - January 28, 2026
Kendall Jenner just dropped the Super Bowl commercial nobody saw coming — and it’s not just stylish product placement, it’s shade with an ROI.
In a new ad for a Sportsbook Kendall leans straight into the long-running internet joke about the so-called “Kardashian curse.” You know the theory that any athlete who dates a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan goes through some kind of professional rough patch.
Instead of dodging that gossip, Kendall turns it into the hook of her first-ever Super Bowl ad.
The spot opens with Kendall coolly sipping tea, sitting in a lavish mansion set, and saying, “Haven’t you heard? The internet says I’m cursed.” She proceeds to joke that “any basketball player who dates me kind of hits a rough patch,” while walking past burned jerseys, scratched-out photos of exes, and luxury toys, all supposedly funded by winning bets she made on their struggles.
By the end of the commercial, she pivots from basketball legends to football, announcing with a wink that she’s now placing wagers on gridiron players, a perfect set-up for Super Bowl LX between the Patriots and Seahawks.
