49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan had himself a little fun this weekend at the beach. The college wide receiver decided to throw a football from a rooftop, across a street, and into a fire pit.

Not a bad throw for a man passed his prime. He's not going to want to hear any excuses from Jimmy Garoppolo this season. I expect this throw to have just shortened the leash on his starting quarterback a few more inches.

Shanahan could probably fill in if needed in an emergency role or for a game or two if Trey Lance isn't ready to take the wheel.
