Rumors surfaced on Saturday that Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley had a verbal agreement with LSU to become their next head coach.  Some put the deal in the $12-13 million a year range.

Following the Sooners loss to Oklahoma State in the Bedlam rivalry game, Riley addressed those rumors.  He immediately denied them, saying "I'm not going to be the next head coach at LSU."

Now just because Riley issued a public denial doesn't mean he won't end up being LSU's next head coach.  We've all seen that happen before.  It does suggest there isn't a verbal agreement in place.
