Marsha Dunkel goes by Marsha Du on social media.

She is a German track athlete who specializes in sprinting. She runs a 400m in 55.26.

Wayde van Niekerk runs his 400m in 43 seconds, but he is the record holder, so you can't really compare her to him, unless you are into the politically charged "Men vs Women" in sports, where the assumption is we are all equal.

We avoid politics here.

The woman 400m record is held by an East German, probably with performance enhancement, back in 1985 at 47 seconds. So clearly this Marsha Dunkel is just continuing her country's legacy in the sport in a less impressive way in speed, but a more impressive way in hot content.
