Mike Trout is Out 6-8 Weeks and the Angels Still Suck

Mike Trout suffered a right calf strain on Monday night. The Angels tweeted out on Tuesday night that the injury has landed their star centerfielder on the DL.

The Angels added that Trout is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with the injury. Trout is currently at the beginning of another monster season.

#Angels OF Mike Trout has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right calf strain.

Estimated return to play is 6-8 weeks.

As for the Angels, they still suck. Even with Trout and their unicorn pitcher who also hits. That said having Trout out of the lineup probably isn't going to help them separate themselves from the Rangers and the AL West basement.
