The Giants have a new general manager after suffering under Dave Gettleman's rule for the past several years.  On Wednesday, Joe Schoen was introduced as the team's new GM.

During that introductory press conference the Giants made it clear that they would not be trading for Deshaun Watson.  The plan is to build their offense around quarterback Daniel Jones.

From ESPN:

"The kid has physical ability. He's got arm strength, he's athletic, he can run," Schoen said. "I'm really excited to work with Daniel.

"Again, when the new staff gets in here, we'll build an offense around Daniel to accentuate what he does best."

Jones has shown a lot of potential at times during his first few NFL seasons.  His problem is consistency and that can be attributed to the Giants front office issues.

Maybe Schoen can get that all back on track.  Giants fans certainly hope so.
