New Lawsuit Filed Against Deshaun Watson

The number of lawsuits filed against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is now 23.  A new lawsuit accusing Watson of sexual assault was filed on Tuesday.

The plaintiff in the latest lawsuit did so after watching two of Watson's accusers make an appearance on HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel last week.  Watching Ashley Solis and Kyla Hayes convinced her to change her mind and join the 22 others.

Another lawsuit has been filed against Deshaun Watson. There are now 23 active civil lawsuits filed against the QB. According to the petition, the plaintiff “changed her mind about filing a lawsuit after watching the HBO Real Sports piece” that aired last Tuesday.

It's probably too early to know for sure whether another lawsuit with affect the NFL's investigation into Watson's many sexual assault lawsuits.  Watson's lawyer expected to hear from the league some time in June.

At this point what's another one or two lawsuits?  It's definitely not going to help his case, but it's unclear how another lawsuit in the many lawsuits is going to add anything to any punishment the NFL hands down.
