NFL LB Barkevious Mingo Allegedly Attempted to Have Intercourse With a Teenage Boy

The Falcons released linebacker Barkevious Mingo shortly after he was arrested on indecency with a child charges.  The details of the allegations against him have come out and they involve a teenage boy at a hotel room.

Mingo is alleged to have pulled at the underwear and attempted intercourse with a teenage boy at hotel room back in 2019.  His attorney has denied the charges.

Later that night, “the victim was woken up by [Mingo] pulling at his underwear,” according to the warrant.

Mingo allegedly became more “aggressive and pulled the victim’s underwear down to his shins. The victim advised that when this was occurring, he was scared and pretended to be asleep,” according to the warrant.

Mingo allegedly then tried to have intercourse with the unidentified victim.

Mingo is obviously innocent until proven guilty, but if he is proven guilty, that's a wrap on his NFL career.  It might be a wrap either way.
