Obama May Be Buying the Phoenix Suns!

I guess it pays to be a public servant, working for the government, getting paid from tax payers.

You'd think that it was more of a throwing your financial hopes and dreams to the wind in attempt to devote your time, energy and mind to other hopes and dreams that involve the public you represent, in efforts to make their lives better and to make things run more efficiently, you knwo to make the world a better place.

Clearly, it is not all philanthropic work, because there is a rumor that the career politician is in talks to buy the the Phoenix Suns with a group of other people, but still an impressive purchase as the price tag is around 4 billion dollars.

The story is that Obama, a huge basketball fan, would be the face and not the money, but he'd still be a team owner and that's pretty massive.

I guess when you're the leader of the free world for 8 years, you basically become a celebrity / influencer and can make a lot of sideline deals, direct to consumer brands, that get you paid above and beyond the salary offered to the politicians, so that you can own Basketball teams if you choose to.
