With Russell Wilson’s return still a few weeks away, the Seahawks are a team that could be in search of another quarterback.  Head coach Pete Carroll admitted that on Monday.

Carroll said the team had talked to veteran free agent quarterback Cam Newton.  He also said they're talking to everybody that could help them.

No deal for Newton has been made.  But it confirms what he said about teams reaching out to him.  It is happening, but he apparently hasn't found the right situation yet.

In other words, Cam wants an opportunity to start.
