22-year-old wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was released by the Raiders hours after he was involved in a fatal car accident.  More details have come out about the accident, including the fact that his girlfriend Rudy Washington was seriously injured in the crash.

The identity of the person who was killed when Ruggs' speeding Corvette rear-ended a Toyota Rav4, causing it to burst into flames, hasn't been revealed.  What we do know is the person killed was a 23-year-old woman.

Ruggs faces more than 20 years in prison after being charged with DUI with serious bodily harm and reckless driving with death or serious bodily harm following the accident.

If this isn't a lesson in how your life can drastically change with one decision I don't know what is.  A woman was killed, his girlfriend and mother to his child is seriously injured and his career is over.  All for a few drinks and because he decided to drive afterwards.
