Reds Pitcher Lucas Sims Went Viral for Throwing Every Single Ball the Umpire Gave Him to the Dugout

Tuesday night's Diamondbacks and Reds game at Great American Ball Park was suspended in the 8th inning due to sleet and rain, but not before pitcher Lucas Sims had an all-time moment.  After walking in the go ahead run, he threw every single ball the umpire gave him to the dugout.

The moment went viral on Wednesday and for very good reason.

After the game, Sims had a perfectly good reason for throwing every ball to the dugout.

"Every single one of them was soaking wet.  There was no reason we should have been playing.  I thought for safety reasons there was no way I was going to throw any of those baseballs."

You may never hear Lucas Sims' name again, but he'll always have this incredible moment.
