Russell Wilson Wants to Cook as Four Possible Trade Destinations Named

The Russell Wilson trade rumors just won't go away, no matter how hard the Seahawks ignore them.  The problems seem to stem from head coach Pete Carroll's unwillingness to let Russ cook.

Russ cooked early on last season and was a legit MVP candidate for several weeks.  A couple of turnover filled games caused Carroll to take away Russ' chef hat and now he's unhappy.

Now Russ' camp is keeping the trade momentum going and now four possible trade destinations have been named.

From Bleacher Report:

Michael-Shawn Dugar, Mike Sando and Jayson Jenks of The Athletic reported Thursday the Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets are among the potential landing spots for the eight-time Pro Bowl selection.

"Some people around the league think a trade could happen, if not this offseason then sometime in the near future," according to The Athletic report.

Buzz around Wilson's potential availability started to grow on Super Bowl Sunday when CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported the quarterback felt the Hawks' inability to fix the offensive line in front of him and his desire to "maximize his opportunity to win consistently" made him a trade candidate.

The Raiders, Dolphins and Saints make a lot of sense.  But who in their right mind wants to play for the Jets?  If Russ is behind the Jets destination being named then he might need to drink some more concussion water.

Seattle could trade Russ or they could just fix their shitty offensive line and let Russ cook!
