Sabrina Carpenter’s Super Bowl commercial for Pringles is here, and it’s exactly the kind of delightfully bizarre spectacle that makes millions tune in for the ads alone.

The Grammy-nominated pop star stars in a spot where, honestly, she doesn’t just flirt with snack branding, she falls in love with a guy made entirely of Pringles potato chips.

The ad kicks off with Sabrina on the phone griping, “I’m so tired of boys. I need a man.” That’s when a Pringles can, whispering like your weirdo best friend, goads her to “Build him!” and like a romance-obsessed Lego architect, she stacks chips into a full-on dude she lovingly dubs Pringleleo.

What follows is a gloriously ridiculous montage of couples activities, they smooch on a kiss cam, have dinner dates, go for drives, fly kites, and generally live their crunchy romance until… things fall apart. And we mean literally fall apart.

Pringleleo keeps losing chips during their time together, because, well… he’s made of chips.

The story ends with Sabrina cannibalising her new boyfriend and devouring him along with a bunch of other people.
