Saints Reportedly Tried to Trade for Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr.

Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. doesn't appear to be happy with his current situation in Cleveland.  Unfortunately for him that's not going to end anytime soon.

The trade deadline has come and gone and he wasn't traded.  But that doesn't mean he wasn't close to being traded.  The New Orleans Saints reportedly had some serious trade talks with the Browns.

I’m told there were discussions re: Odell going to the #Saints — but both sides couldn’t agree on a workable deal, given how much OBJ is owed the rest of the year.

Plus, there still is optimism in the #Browns building that OBJ can be a big part of their second-half playoff push

Who needs to add a quarterback when you can trade for OBJ?  Not the Saints.  They appear to be rolling with Trevor Siemian....
