Imagine Patrick Mahomes in a Saints uniform. It almost happened.

According to Sean Payton, Mahomes was the "best college quarterback" he's ever evaluated and he was going to draft him with the No. 11 overall pick back in 2017.

The Chiefs traded up that year to take Mahomes with the No. 10 pick and gave us at least two seasons too many of Drew Brees.

Imagine Mahomes in New Orleans. He would probably still playing in back-to-back Super Bowls. The Saints offense has a ton of weapons.
