Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is a pretty funny brand. They have serious longevity, by giving their subscribers hot swimsuit model content over the last 50 or more years.

They have made huge careers and live for many swimsuit models over the last 50 years, some of whom only had Sports Illustrated on their resume of work and that was enough.

They have given young girls something to aspire to be, because that stamp of approval from being cast by the magazine is still a dream to girls of this current generation, just ask Livvy Dunne.

Clearly, being asked to be part of something that involves stripping down for a produced photoshoot means something to the culture and to the people involved. It's a why post an instagram bikini pic, when you can be cast in some elaborate shoot in some tropical getaway.

In order to maintain the brand, to thwart off being cancelled, or the haters, they have managed to offend a handful of their readers with a little bait and switch idea of throw in the diversity models, the old, the fat, the genderless, the diseased, the disabled, the mutants, the trolls, the horror movie monsters, so that they can virtue signal that they are inclusive, all so that they can squeeze in the hotties.

In today's Sports Illustrated Swim news, they've found a 54 year old named Nina Cash, who is one of the Rookies, that's more of a veteran since she's 54, but a rookie since it's her first time in the magazine.

It is possible for 54 year olds who chose health, wellness, fitness, and strategic cosmetic procedures to still be hot for a 54 year old, so of course Sports Illustrated hops on that to get that diversity hire they need to not be criticized for being misogynistic jerks giving girls unrealistic body images.

Dr. Nina Cash recently retired from being an associate Dean at a University. She earned her undergraduate degree in human services, her master’s degree in negotiation, conflict resolution, and peace-building, and her doctorate in educational leadership.

Her husband submitted some leopard bikini pics of her and she made it to top 24 in the SI Swim search.

She also said this of her experience:

“This whole experience has just been nothing but magic to me. It’s been magical. I’ve said this a gazillion times and I will keep saying it because it’s truly a way to express how I’m feeling, but I feel like a child the night before Christmas and it’s like, now it’s Christmas day today and I’m opening up all my presents and I’m filled with such happiness and gratitude and excitement. It’s just, it’s been wonderful.

So women do like being stripped down and posing in bikinis at all ages and dreams do come true if you submit you half naked pics to magazines you want to be featured in. Interesting.
