Knicks fans went completely insane on Wednesday night after the Knicks beat the Celtics in double overtime to open the season. They celebrated outside of Madison Square Garden as if they had won a championship.

This is why Knicks fans can't have nice things. Sure starting the season 1-0 is nice. Sure beating the Celtics to do so is an added bonus, but there are 81 more of these things and a long fucking road ahead.

Celebrating the first win of the season like you won a championship only leads to disappointment and Knicks fans should know this by now.
