The Lions Pissed Off the NFL on Draft Night

The NFL Draft was full of plenty of surprises.  One of them was when the No. 1 overall favorite Aidan Hutchinson fell to No. 2.  The pick was a no-brainer for the Lions and they wasted no time in sending it in to the league after the Jaguars selected Travon Walker with No. 1 pick.

The Lions sent in their pick for Hutchinson within one minute of Jacksonville's and the NFL didn't like it.  A Lions official revealed that fact to Peter King, "We turned the card in so fast the league got mad at us."

You can't blame the Lions.  They wanted Hutchinson and didn't need to talk things over.  Now the real work begins.  Hutchinson has to bring his college game to the next level.  If he does that the Lions will still finish in the bottom of the NFC North division.
