Todd McShay Stepping Away From Role at ESPN to Focus on His Health and Family

ESPN's Todd McShay was trending on Twitter this weekend.  That isn't always a good thing.  McShay didn't appear to be himself during a sideline report at the Alabama-Miami game.

It would appear those concerned about McShay after watching him this weekend had good reason to be concerned.  On Tuesday, without providing specifics, McShay announced that he would be taking some time away from his role at ESPN to focus on his health and his family.

I am going to take some time away to focus on my health and my family. Thank you ESPN for being so supportive and for all the well wishes - I can’t wait to be back on the sidelines soon.

Hopefully McShay's able to get things back on track, whatever his issues are.  He's one of the good guys at ESPN and I wish him nothing but the best.
