Chiefs wide receiver Tyeek Hill was accused of being a bad tipper on social media.  According to the accuser he didn't leave a tip on a $61 bill.

Hill didn't let the accusations go unanswered, he took to Twitter to respond.  He blamed the bad tip on two things, his girlfriend and bad service.

Be careful before you call out an athlete for not tipping.  It's likely going to backfire on you as it did here.  If you suck at your job expect a bad tip.  It's a pretty simple equation.

  • Colin says:

The correct way to handle this is to tip the appropriate amount and speak with the manager about the service.

    • Chris says:

Your joking right, a tip represents the work the employee did, the way they treated the customer and the overall customer /client experience.

  • George Depper says:

Where is it written that you must tip? A “tip” is “to insure prompt service! It’s not mandatory! So all servers who think that a tip is mandatory and don’t get one, build a bridge and get over it! And where does it say at 20% is mandatory! Don’t like the pay, get a better paying job!

  • George says:

If they did poor service tip $1. Leaving $0 and then blaming your girl is high school stuff, man up do your own finances.

  • john q. public says:
